Water, water everywhere...

A report has singled out Ontario as the only province to get an "A" grade for its water protection efforts.

It's worth pointing out that the group in power in Ontario at the time of the Walkerton debacle are closely linked with the gang currently in Ottawa, who have received a "F" for their efforts.

Watching Hockey on TV

Just saw the "Stopthesteamroller.com" commercial; the sad last swing of a side going down.

Oh well.

Farmers are about to lose their wheat board, just as Quebecers are losing the gun registry that they approve of.

Neither of these Tory moves were a surprise, were they? And yet, they won a majority last election. Go figure eh?

I could yammer on about compromise and the value of having a big-tent party closer to the middle of the spectrum, but what would be the point?

I hope people remember this next election, but I won't bet on it.

Harper misled Parliament over G8 costs: AG Really?

Thanks Sheila for letting us know.

And now that they have a majority, so what can be done?

Oh well.

Enjoy your retirement Sheila.

Our PM really had to go see a hockey game

Anyone know how much that little sortie would have cost? A bit more than the price of the tickets for a regular flight, but that doesn't matter to Steve, does it? He used to decry stuff like that as abuse of power and wasteful. Now it's just a perk.

Edit: I don't feel like "lightening up" on this; this is hypocrisy, and unacceptable.

Scott Stinson on the Cabinet: Harper plays Canadians for suckers

LOL.
